Automation along its length!
AmpaPLC(3,5 mt 6,5 mt)
This device is a PLC Linear positioning roller for all profiles from 3 to 6mt long.
It is able to automatically process a linear hole range on a single axis as it is equipped with roller carriage and manual pincher. It is possible to adjust its height in order to suit all profiles both in the flange and in the web.
It can be combined with all single punching machines and with hydraulic punching and shearing machines mod. 604NP-805N-1105N.

The machine provides active and passive safety devices, described in this manual, to protect the health and safety of personnel who operate or maintain the machine.
PASSIVE SAFETY DEVICES
a Full upper casing (1), protecting the motor which activates the workpiece driving slide.
b Control pedal (2) with housing. The housing is designed in such a way as to hold the operator's shoe from the sides. With the operator's foot firmly retained in the housing, the chances of the pedal being inadvertently pressed or of the operator falling are minimized.
c Electrical equipment cabinet (3). The cabinet can only be unlocked with its own key or with mechanical means (should it become necessary to force the door open).
Note
In every case, the electric cabinet can only be opened with the equipment not powered, i.e. with the main switch in the "O" position.
d PLC (4) with dust proof membrane keypad, insulation class IP55.
e Safety enclosure (5) with two moving access bars (6), protected by microswitches (7), giving access to the feeder for maintenance and setting up purposes. Opening of either gate will immediately cause an emergency stop of both the punch press and AMPA feeder.
To restart the system, close the gate first and restart the machine via the PLC.

ACTIVE SAFETY DEVICES
a Proximity sensors (1). Their purpose is to stop the carriage whenever it reaches the maximum permitted travel limit.
These sensors are energised by platelets (2) that are installed as fixed elements to the bed.
b Red (mushroom-shaped) EMERGENCY button (3) on the PLC control panel. When activated, the emergency button will immediately stop the punch press and the AMPA feeder

c Main switch IG (4) with safety lock. When in the "I" position (circuits powered), the main switch prevents the electric cabinet door from being opened.
d Control pedal (5). This is the punch press control pedal. It is provided with a locking device (6) that is enabled when the pedal is in idle position. In this position, the operator has to slot in his foot completely (and disengage the lock) in order to operate the pedal again.
