Angles and Flats

The Ficep CNC angle and flat line solution gives you the opportunity to not only process angle but also channels and flats! The extensive Ficep angle line product line typically offers the following capabilities:

  • Punching
  • Drilling
  • Shearing
  • Programmable Miter Shearing of Flats
  • Notching
  • And Marking

This type of automation enables a firm to process, in the most efficient manner, these miscellaneous shapes by going from stock length material to finished parts in one automated CNC operation. The Ficep systems typically eliminate the manual layout and automate the production of holes, notches, part marking and cutting the finished part to length!

The Ficep family of CNC controlled angle lines are available with either a roller feed drive measuring system or a carriage type system with rack and pinion measuring for the ultimate in accuracy. The roller feed system is frequently used by fabricators who process shorter parts where the "T" Models are employed in those applications such as tower fabrication where the accuracy requirement for longer parts is of extreme importance.

The FICEP lines of CNC machines for the production of angles are predominant throughout the world.

Wherever you are, if you happen to see a line of pylons or telephone poles, they were probably constructed thanks to the substantial contribution of a Ficep angle machine.

In the structural steel industry, instead, the manufacturing of angle bracings, cleats, purlins, trusses, requires operations like punching, shearing; notching that can all be addressed with the FICEP machines. It goes without saying that the design of beam end connections, bracings, stiffeners, end plates, base plates can be addressed with the CNC punch and shear flat lines that are present in the range of the FICEP lines for the structural steel industry.

Ficep is represented throughout the world by its network of direct branches (9) and local agents with proven experience and reliability. Customers all around the world have chosen our high-technology systems in constructing their future.
